In recent developments, Talal Fouani, a Calgary money laundering suspect who survived a deadly ambush in which his wife, Nakita Baron, was tragically killed, is considering a new defence lawyer for his criminal prosecution. Fouani has approached defence counsel Greg Dunn to represent him in the money laundering case. However, Dunn expressed the need for time to review the case file and determine whether he will take on Fouani's defence and continue pursuing various applications initiated by former counsel Yoav Niv.
